RIP MSI K9N4 Ultra-f

It was a piece of shit, but was enough for me to play.

I am now sure it’s it. Previously, when I tried to launch my PC without a video card, it ALWAYS beeped out a video error. Always. Evn after it started screwing up. I put the mobo back into the case and connected the speaker. No beeps at all. Silence. And before some wiseguy says I connected it wrong way - you can’t, speakers don’t have a polarity, plus to be on the SAFE side I ran it a few times with the connector reversed.

The “minimal config”, just RAM, CPU and video card. Still no boot, can’t even verify system speaker beeps (no integrated speaker, the one in the case is unseparable). Still can’t confirm if it’s mobo or GF9600.

Welp. That only leaves me one thing. Giving the video card to a trusted friend to test it.

I think I’m gonna do last one thing - take the whole PC apart and put it back together (together with removing mobo from the case). Maybe there is just something loose or making a short circuit or such.

Yeah, I’m fairly sure it’s dead. It doesn’t want to start at all. Last fewe days it did after like 3-5 power cycles. I’m up to 30 now

I played LoL, on the 3rd match the game loaded up, the soundn started to play, but as it was about to show graphics - BAM, the computer rebooted. No BSoD, no nothing. PC didn’t boot up at all since then.
