vindicarthehippogriff asked: "That wasn't the point, but yeah." Hippogriff smiles as well, patting pegasus' shoulder a bit. "Anyway, there are places I need to go and things I need to do. It's nice to know you're alright, Pewny. Good luck to you!" Vindicar says as he stands up and heads towards an exit.
“I know, I know” He looks to his friend. “And sure thing Vin, I’m also glad to know you are doing fine. See you next time then.”
vindicarthehippogriff asked: Vindicar just shakes his head a bit, deciding not to pick on the topic. "I totally should visit my friends more often, or I'm risking to find out during my next visit that you're out to participate in Running of the Leaves." Hippogriff chuckles softly, smiling.
He facewings, smiling lightly “Me and running. In a race to boot. Maybe in some alternate reality, V, but not in this one.”
vindicarthehippogriff asked: "Well, that's your field of expertise, Pewny. I'm not sure why would water pump not work underwater." Vindicar smiles. "But if you make it work when submerged, the probe will be much safer to use." He pauses a bit, looking outside, and says quitly. "Hearts and Hooves is coming... I guess winter will be over soon."
He chuckles lightly “I didn’t mean the pump. I more like meant the ejected water stream, if underwater it will be actually able to push the probe forward. Physics under water can be strange sometimes.” He looks where his friend is looking “Hearts and Hooves huh? Another day I couldn’t care less about."
vindicarthehippogriff asked: "Well, I do remember seeing an advertisement of something called 'water scooter'. They claimed it's safe to ride, since it propels itself by ejecting stream of water backwards, but I'm not sure how that scooter does it. If it has a propeller, it must be hidden somewhere inside."
“Ejecting stream of water you say?” He seems to think for a moment “Hmmm, I guess that, with a water pump that creates high enough pressure, it could be possible to do it. But there is just the question, if this solution would work for something that is completely submerged”
vindicarthehippogriff asked: "And there is no water body around big enough to test it... at least no one that's not frozen. May be the underwater test will have to wait till winter wrap up. But anyway, you're doing a great work, Pewny!" Vindicar nods enthusiastically, "But I'm not quite sure if it's a good idea to use a propeller... isn't it quite dangerous and vulnerable? When choosing between speed and reliability I'd choose the latter. Though I'm sure you had good reasons to choose propeller."
“Yeah, that too. I think I should be ready for that test when wrap up comes up. As for that… It was honestly the first thing that came to my mind, but you do bring a good point. However, whaht else could I use?”
