“Alrighty then” He stands there, waiting as you draw the mark.
aires163 asked: "Alright, all I need now is your mailing address, and a logo for your business if you have one." He said as he pulled a pair of leather straps with dull spikes attached to them. He walked over to the typewriter and after strapping the spikes on, he began to type.
“Well, mailing adress is” He says where his workshop is located (read as: mod never though about it) “As for the logo… That may be a problem, I don’t have one” he thiks a bit “Maybe my Cutie Mark?” On his flank is indeed a mark related to his job, a small radio.
aires163 asked: "It's official! I'm getting you a spot on one of the magazines I work for even if it kills me!" He said as he stomped one of his hooves. "I'm just going to need all the information you have on your business first. Things like the name, listed location of service. Those kinds of things."
He lightly blushes, but eventually smiles, excited about it “Well, if that really won’t be a problem then… Name’s Pewny, place is simply called ‘Pewny’s workshop’ and I operate in Ponyville. With an additional fee I can travel to other cities without a problem. I can fix nearly anything, from small things like typewriters, to big things like Steam Engines, and also electronics, radios, TVs, you name it.”
aires163 asked: He sat and watched the Pegasus work on the typewriter. He began to plan and contemplate how he was going to get his new acquaintance an advertising spot on any one of the magazines that he worked for.
Most you can see really is his wing working on the thing. After 4 minuntes he tries to type something, then tests all keys one after another. “There, good as new.”
aires163 asked: "Sir, I insist you take twenty for such a quick job!" He said as his expression turned to one of great cheer. "What would you say if I could get you free advertising in one of Manehattans tabloid magazines?"
He blinks, slightly dumbfounded “Wow, you sir are sure one generous pony if I’ve ever saw one.” He smiles “I won’t lie, a bit of advertisement would be nice, not many ponies come here, especially when they see a ‘pegasus engineer’” He sighs lightly “Anyways, let me repair it already.” He puts the typewriter on the desk inside his workshop, takes small pliers and starts to work.
aires163 asked: "Wow, wish I could always find a repairman as efficient as you! Usually something like this takes about an hour."
He laughs lightly “It’s just a bit of luck really, to quickly notice what is wrong. Also, it will be 15 bits.”
aires163 asked: "Sure thing!" He said as he gently handed the typewriter to the Pegasus. "I just hope it can be fixed. This thing has some sentimental value and I would hate to lose it!"
He carefully takes the machine from you and looks at it. Tries to bress the keys, none of them budging, aside from a few on the rightmost side “Hmmm” He looks closer at typebars and after few seconds smiles “I found the problem. One of bars here” He points to it “slightly bent over to the left, pressing against the others hard enough to jam them. I need about five minutes and it’s done.”
aires163 asked: "Well I happen to have this here type writer, and the keys just don't seem to be working. You think you could help me out? If so, how much is it going to cost me?" He asked as he took off his saddle bag and pulled out an old typewriter.
“A typewriter, eh? Well, it depends, there is a few reasons the keys don’t work, they either jammed, which can be fixed easily and cheaply, or they could bend due to age and usage. This will take some work to straighten them AND there is a chance some may need to be replaced, which could be costly.” He looks to the said machine “Can I see it?”
aires163 asked: "Hello there, I heard you're just the pony to see if you need something repaired. Would that be correct, or am I looking for some other pony?"
The pegasus looks at you and smiles “Hello and yes, you found the right pony. How can I help you sir?”
