It won't budge, after hours of attempts, and much laughter, a piece of paper falls out of the instruction booklet, seems to be the actual last page, the part that says "Don't open the Troll Chest" seems to have been an edit, the original text read, "Don't TRY to open the Troll Chest, it won't do any good."

Well, it IS a Troll Chest, fucking with your head is kind of what it's meant to do. Did it just laugh at you from inside the other chest?

Key always opens to the same inventory chest area, which means the Troll chest keeps popping up. Otherwise the chests just keep coming from the Matryoska Chest, randomly with useless trinkets like the doll. Strange thing, the Troll Box seems to change color whenever he sees it.

It is awfully tempting, the Troll Box, on the other hoof, having a secured Inventory that only you can access with your key is useful, but on the other hoof the Troll Box is awfully tempting, and mocking you with its shit eating grin.

Seems the Matryoshka Chest is one of the tricks people who make dungeons use to spread loot out and about, Unlimited chests tends to be helpful. It actually does explain how to use it properly, including the saved inventory that you can get with any of the chests using the magic key. It also says never to open the Troll box.
