“I guess we took a default kart then or something.“ she giggles as she continues to drive, going over a ramp, this time trying to drift at the end.
“Yeah, we did” He smiles, looking as she tries to drift “I may had explained it a bit wrong, you don’t have to drift after a ramp.” He approaches a curve, his kart jumps up slightly and goes into drift after landing from the hop “You can do it always”
“Wait… So you do it while you’re on the ramp then?“ she asks “Or right before it? Or… Wait… Do you mean actually always always, even when there’s no ramp involved?“
“I mean always, even when there is no ramp” He is on a straight segment right now and he presses R a few times, making small hops, then before a curve without any ramps, hops and goes into drift
“Ooh… Well, then I’m just gonna try doing that on every turn.“ she smiles as she rides around a corner and drifts. “Well, I wish I knew that before.“
“I did explain it, you just misunderstood~” He chuckles, it is partially true, but he shown drifting to her when jumping out of a ramp causing confusion

“They raise your top speed… I actually forgot to mention that” He sighs at his stupidity “Each coin you get allows you to reach a higher top speed. There is a limit of ten coins, each one you get after simply gives you an incredibly small speed boost. When you fall off the stage or get hit by a pickup you lose three coins.”
“Ooh! Well, I better start trying to pick them up then.“ she replies, giggling lightly “I thought they were for unlocking stuff or something like that.“

I am very likely to get the green shell or banana, with a lower chance of getting a pickup capable of destroying the blue shell, and extremely low chance to get a turbo mushroom. What items and with what chance you can get depends on your position, but most importantly, your distance from the leader” He explains then adds “And that was Crash Bandicoot.”
“Ah, darn. I liked those things.“ she smiles as she fires the item she just got. An actual blue shell. “Well, maybe you’ll be able to get it in a soon.“ she giggles lightly “I actually played that game a few times back in elementary school, when I still had friends who I’d visit.“
“Well, there is one item here that slows all players aside from the one who uses it, a thunderbolt” He smiles as he seems the blue shell approach “Well damn…”
“Well, I am pretty far behind.“ she giggles lightly “Maybe I’ll be able to catch up now.“ she says as she keeps driving “Well,I hope I’ll be able to get one of those thunderbolts.“
