“I can imagine.“ she smiles “I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a group the first time.“
“Squares are fine with me for prototyping stage, so sure” After that he nods “And that would be certainly useful, even when being over at your place, it would be easier to update the code that way than by a flashdrive”
“Very much so. Unity does have it’s own repository thing, but I’m pretty sure that’s a thing you’ve got to pay for.“ she says “So… Well, github would work. what do you think?“
“I’d say we better not mess with something that may be on ‘pay to use’ basis and go with something we both know how to use. Github that is.”
“Alright then.“ she smiles “Let’s try setting that up and maybe do a test project to see if we find any problems.“
“Alright. So who creates the project on github?”
“I guess I can do it. I’ve just never done it with Unity before.“ she says as she opens her browser. “So I’m not sure what to put in the gitignore file.“
“Well, the way I usually do something like that is to create a new project, add all of it to the git, and after that compile it and add every new file to gitignore”
