“So uhm… How do you think we should calculate the score?“ she asks, looking up at him.
“You said the score will be increasing faster the closer to the object the player is. But that could be abused, just stay as close to the object as possible without triggering the mission completion.”
“Well, there would be a limited time… Because well, since you’re a news helicopter, you can’t really follow a car chase into a tunnel. Plus you can’t stay super close because of bullets flying around and stuff.“
“Alright, that’s a good point. I guess a linear increase in scoring speed would be the best here. Let’s say 100 points per second when in 100 meter vicinity of the targer, and decrasing by 5 per second per every 100 meters of distance, capped at 0.”
