“Alright then” He takes a slice of it for himself and eats it alternating with the omelet.
Kate smiles as she continues eating, a bit unsure what else to talk about.
He doesn’t either, just sitting there and eating, enjoying the meal.
Not talking, it doesn’t take Kate very long to finish her meal and she pours out another glass of 7up.
They finish more or less equally, both bein slight gluttons for food. He leans back and smiles “Well that was really tasty”
“Well, I’m glad you liked it.“ she smiles, taking their plates to go wash the dishes.
“Well how could I not, while it may be a simple dish, it was made perfectly”
“Well, I did have a lot of practice.“ she giggles lightly
