“Hehe, I loved playing the Wario games on the gameboy.“ she giggles, getting ready to play, trying to remember the controls Pewny told her before.
“Same here, Wario Land series was great. Shame they don’t do more of them” He choses the first set of stages on the list and the game starts loading
(Mun fact: Wario is indeed my favorite Mario-series character.)“Yeah, those were great.“ she giggles lightly as she starts holding the gas. “Well, lets hope I can manage to ride this kart.“
“It’s not hard so” He waits a bit before pushing the gas. As the green light appears, Pewny launches forward with a boost while Kate’s kart ‘explodes’, shakes and only then she can start
“Huh? Why did I explode?“ Kate asks a bit surprised as she starts chasing after Pewny.
“Oh… sorry about that, starting with a boost is something of a habit for me now” He nods, slowing down a bit so Kate can catch up, as it’s not exactly fair with her not knowing that “If you hit gas too early you will overheat. But if you do it around when the second light shows up, it will start you up with a boost. If you do it too late you won’t explode, but you won’t get the boost either.”
