I’m sorry Darkly, but while I do respect (and in a way support) that you want to keep those tags “clean”, I have to agree with Ensayne and co. on the fact it is the parents fault. You ever saw in a gameshop how parents buy 11-year olds (or even younger) games like CoD or BF? Or anything else rated PEGI 16 or 18? It happens way too often. So is with the internet. Parents just hook it up to their kid’s PC and leave it at that. They don’t install any software that blocks content like that (be it either by some DB of sites or by keywords), they don’t monitor them while the kid browses the net. They don’t care, all they do is say “Don’t do that and that, blah, blah, blah”. What kid would listen to that? Especially nowadays when giving a kid spanking for misbehaviour is making you the worst parent ever?

All in all, if someone is on the internet, then without any “protection” they WILL see porn. Google safe search? One click and it’s turned off. Besides it’s not ideal. Let’s say that I reblogged a NSFW picture. My blog is not marked as NSFW, it still could show even with safe search on. Tumblr’s tag search is a mess, it tends to find a word you look for in multi word tags. Sometimes it even finds you totally unrelated things.

Internet is sadly a scary place, non-supervied kids shouldn’t be on it.
