If two people like the same thing, it doesn’t imply ANY other connections.
If two people like the same thing, then they like the same thing. That’s all.
Thus:
- If someone you dislike likes something you like, feel free to continue liking it. Don’t let them ruin it for you.
- If someone you dislike likes something you don’t, don’t assume everyone else that also likes it will be people you dislike.
Also, don’t let words get you all freaked out! If someone says something that makes you upset, politely let them know. If they continue to say it anyway, just walk away and ignore them. The quickest way to make sure words die is to leave them unheard.
