Ugh... fuck me.

So, finally after quite some time I manaed to get some money (270PLN/85$/66€) and… I literally have no idea what to use it for.

1. Motherboard + CPU + RAM. My actual PC’s only good part is video card (GF9600GT) the other are crap (AMD 3600+ X2, 2x2GHZ with 256kB cache./2GB RAM)

2. Bigger HDD. Right now I have in my PC 2 HDDs, 200GB and 120GB, with the second one slowly dying. If I wanted to buy 1TB drive I would spend all money I have…

3. Guild Wars 2. So many people are saying that this game is good, and the fact that you don’t have to pay monthly is a giant plus. But that’s 200PLN…

4. Finally some normal monitor. The one I use now is 17’’ 4:3 CRT @1280x960 max. Most games released now are made with 16:9/16:10 in mind, 4:3 resolutions often having a bloody letterbox, having to choose 1280x1024 (5:4 resolution), or not available at all.

5. Finally pay someone and go to Wrocław to pick up my monitor and bedsheets. Since I changed universities during vacations and not going back there, but I left those things in there, and I don’t have a car of my own, the monitor is too heavy to transport it via public comunication.

6. Network Adaptor for PS2 - not really an urgent matter, but playing with a HDD connected directly to PS2 would be 400% better than via USB (which in PS2 is slower than 1.x standards). I mean, on HDD everything works,no lag in cutscenes. On USB every game has to be unframented, game on the end of the drive often refuse to work, and FMVs work like this: 1 second of video - 2 seconds of nothing.

I wanted to upgrade my PC for years now, but now that I can I reached the point of thinking “True, it’s slow, but it still can play every new game, Skyrim even works on Medium detail level @1280x960” making me rethink it… Eh, I feel so bad now…
