Why the hell do you have to register to vote in US? It makes no sense and is fraud prone.

In Poland you can only vote in ONE place (based on your home address) and all you have to do is show them your ID, then you are allowed to vote.

I’d imagine it’s so they can keep track of the ages, genders, locations, etc. of the voters for future references in things like election statistics and for things like the Census.

In Poland, when you show your ID you are “ticked off” from a list of people allowed to vote in a given voting booth. This is then used for all statistical data - no registering required.
