“Nintendo stated that the Wii U supports 1080p graphics and has 2 GB of memory; 1 GB as system memory and the same for game memory.”
So in other words Wii U will have 1GB of RAM… Great job Nintendo.
And the PS3 has 256mb of ram.
so the wii U has four times the RAM of the PS3.
8 times if you include all of it.
so hush.
Yes, PS3 has 256MB and X360 has 512MB. But take in mind that those consoles were released in 2005 and 2006, when such amounts of RAM in even gaming PCs were normal. Now we are in 2012, where PC games usually have a minimum requirement of 2GB, 4GB is “medium”. I know console != PC, but memory is still memory, and PS3/360 had comparable amounts with PCs at the time.
Plus, you can’t include all of it, since only 1GB can be used by a game. Not to mention it’s shared with the console’s video card.
