Ya, that can happen, I kind of wish I could have done more gear battles though.
No, my problem is… I only use my starter.
Samurott: lvl 40
Pansear: lvl 14
Lillipup: lvl 2
Patrat: lvl 12
Munna: lvl 13 - was lvl 8 when I started the battle. That thing gained 5 levels after ONE(!) enemy died
Pidove: lvl 6
It was the very first triple battle, the guy’s pokemon were lvl 22+
