I should probably add that this isn’t an issue that’s limited to just NSFW pony blogs. Nor is it just limited to pony blogs or NSFW blogs.

This is a MAJOR issue with Tumblr, one that can affect ANY blog on here. ANY blog can be targeted this way, and ANY blog can be taken down for bogus violations just because some single person doesn’t like it.

They don’t even have to not like it. They could just decide to do it because they want to cause trouble. It’s just that easy. It doesn’t even take a person who knows how to program scripts. All one needs is the right proxy program to cycle their IP, something anyone could find with less than 15 minutes of searching the web. Then they take a couple hours out to just spam TOS reports about a single blog, and that blog is taken down in a couple hours.

ANY blog can be targeted like this. You could have a blog set up to try and gain support for a bill in your local government, maybe one that would help the homeless. All someone that’s opposed to the bill would have to do is use the same trick, and your blog barely even sees the light of day. You could post a blog letting people know about a family member’s struggle with cancer. If someone wants to be a dick, they could nuke your blog for no other reason than because they can.

This is NOT simply a problem that’s limited to pony blogs or NSFW blogs. This is a problem for every person on Tumblr.
