I have the oldest model of the PS3, the fat 40gb version. Today I bought Borderlands 2 and put it in my system, and it took a little longer than normal to feed it in. I thought that was strange so I went to my XMB dash and it says there is no game in the system. I tried ejecting it and it either makes the beeps like there is no game IN there, or makes the loading ejecting noise for 30 seconds then stops and no game comes out. Please, could anyone help me figure out what’s wrong with this? I have 550 followers, I hope that someone can help, I can’t lose my favorite system…

I am NO specialist in PS3 field, but it sounds like the thing jammed. Try to restart PS3 COMPLETELY (unplug it from power and plug it back). If that won’t work, try to hit PS3 around the disc slot, it may just push something in the right place. If that doesn’t work either, well, you will need service to help you..
