I mean, I removed EVERYTHING save for RAM, CPU and Video card and it didn’t want to start up AT ALL (read as - fans start, HDD (when connected) starts, video card fan starts, but there is no signal to monitor, meaning it didn’t reach video card boot)
I made sure it’s not RAM (checked them in another PC) so that leaves Mobo, CPU and VCard. Removed video card - silence. As in, CPU fan started but aside from that silence, I expected beeps for lack of video card. After a few reboots I got 2 beeps and then 8 beeps… All of them short, but the first two were different. Upon googling up I found one code - 1 long 8 short = video card error. Possible that first 2 beeps were in fact 1 long. It made sense as the card was gone, so it should and did beep a video error code.
But… It didn’t immediately, it did after a few boots. Seems it was motherboard acting up, if it was video card it would be beeping ALL the time. If it was CPU I would be getting continuous 5 beeps. Plus, upon putting the card back in I saw CMOS Checksum Bad, so BIOS resetted settings eventually.
It’s not that big of a problem as next month I am buying a motherboard + CPU from a friend, so the two I have can die for what I care… BUT NOT TIL I GET THE NEW ONES DAMNIT
