An artist who used to release new pictures once a day/week slowed down? I must unfollow.
An artist started to post written responses, even though they are used to develop the character(s) and/or the story? Unfollow.
The artist put the blog on (temporary) hiatus? Unfollow!
The artist posted something that was meant to be on the modblog by accident? Unfollow!
The style used until now fell off in the last few posts? Unfollow!

Unfollow! Unfollow! Unfollow! Unfollow! Unfollow! Unfollow!

Why?
Are there really people who think that the artists are some kind of unceasing and flawless machines, whose only purpose in life is releasing as many pictures as they can or answering all the messages they receive immediately, without being allowed to have even the slightest drop in their style, make some errors or have a social life outside of the space they use to draw and post?

[And as for the blogs that go on hiatus, even blogs that were put on permanent stop or that were closed may start to post again (and yes, it happened to many blogs I’m still following and that have currently started to post again), so why are there people who immediately hit the “Unfollow” button even when the artists proclaim the break is going to last less than a week/month?]

To me, those seems like some really silly reasons to unfollow someone.

Please guys, have a little more consideration towards those great people who run blogs (ask blogs, drawn blogs, RP blogs, comic blogs, it doesn’t matter), who spend a portion of their time, either small or big, just to create something to amuse us, a bunch of strangers. :)

The reasons listed here as silly may be that. But there ARE some legitimate reasons to unfollow someone. Here are examples why /I/ would unfollow someone:

An ask-blog turns into an RP blog. Either drawn or text based, if you go from one/a few posts a day to spamming my dash every 5 minutes without ANY warning, I am most likely to unfollow. Ask blog is an ask blog, people ask questions to the character to be answered, not to do complex actions requiring constant input from both sides.

You were posting stuff I’m interested in, then you lost interest in it and post things I hate. You have NO right to complain about that, unless you are a follower-whore. If I don’t like what I see on my dash and YOU are the source, you get unfollowed. Easy.
