A million of files, since a file can’t take less space than one disk cluster. Which is usually 4kb nowaday.

And as I expected you got it right. Good.

NTFS, tho, can store very small files right in the file table, therefore not taking extra space on the drive itself. =p Of course, entries of file table take some space on their own.

Not always it seems, or not on Win XP. I just made a 1 byte text file and in properties, size on HDD was 4kB
