“Yeah, that too. I think I should be ready for that test when wrap up comes up. As for that… It was honestly the first thing that came to my mind, but you do bring a good point. However, whaht else could I use?”
“I’d still rather avoid underwater testing. I am not completely sure yet just how well I waterproofed this thing. I did test the wheels however, didn’t have problems with them.”
“Unavailable? Something happened?” He asks before sitting down “As for that, the remote probe is going rather well. It has a proppeler for underwater operation as well as set of wheels to work normally. Seems to accept remote commands as well.”
He smiles upon noticing his friend “Ah! Vindicar, good to see you my friend. Things are rather good on my side. How about you?” He steps back, inviting the hippogriff inside.
“Hmm?” Some slight shuffling can be heard from inside “I’m coming!” he says as after a few seconds the door open.

dafuq?
I’m piss, dat’s wat.
“Because I’m half griffon? Many ponies don’t see the difference anyway.”
“So what that you are half griffon?” He seems kinda puzzled.
“Well, one would expect you of all ponies to be suspicious of me, yet you’re not. And it feels good, honestly.” Hybrid looks down and pokes the ground with his foreclaw.
He smiles more “I knew I will meet you, Mythic warned me I will be meeting someone that looks similair to a Griffon. And you can’t tell me that upon first meeting… first FEW meetingS I wasn’t nervous like hell around you. You were always nice to me, never threathened me, even worried about me with all that crystal thing.” He hugs the hippogriff with his front hooves “I am more comfortable around you than probably around any pony ever.”
(OOC: to quote Demoman “If I wasn’ the man I was I’d kiss ye!”)
((OOC: d’aaawwww!))
Vindicar smiles happily. “Thank you for saying that, Pewny. Ponies like you make me feel at home here, and that’s more than I could hope for when I crossed Equestrian border.” He says in a softer tone, returning the hug and wrapping his wings around dark-colored pegasus.
“You are welcome Vindicar” The pegasus lightly pats V’s back “That’s the least I can do for you my friend”
Hippogriff smiles happily as he returns the hug. “Thanks. Honestly, it’s ironic that you’re one of the mostly friendly ponies I’ve met.” he adds, smirking and nudging pegasus slightly.
He blinks “Me? Most friendly? Nooo… And why ironic?”
“Because I’m half griffon? Many ponies don’t see the difference anyway.”

“Well I saw it once when one of my coworkers was showing off. He bucked a cloud in such a way the lightning struck exactly where he wanted. I’m not sure if his skill was in bucking the cloud or guessing the next hit, though.”
“And there I thought that lightning strikes the moment a thundercloud is hit… I honestly have no idea then.”
“Well, one can’t be good at everything… and those who try usually end up being good at nothing.” Hippogriff sighs a bit and looks away. “I hope I’m not keeping you up, because I just realized I didn’t chat with a friend for quite a time.”
“That statement is very, very true.” He just smiles and wing-hugs the hippogriff “Don’t worry, you are not keeping me up. I was just tired, didn’t plan on going to sleep.”
“Well, sometimes that’s enough.” Vindicar smiles. “I wonder how some pegasi manage to use stormclouds as weapons, though…”
“… Weapons?” He seems to think for a moment “Perhaps by ‘throwing’ them in general direction of the enemy and then somehow make it ‘fire’… dunno, maybe by throwing a rock at it, assuming it won’t go through the cloud like an Earth pony.”

“Exactly. Leftovers from the rain made it even worse. The thing is, it’s hard to determine how much water left, so it’s just easier to let the cloud dissipate and make a new one.” Vindicar stretches a bit, spreading his wings wide. “Good thing it’s not my job to do it. Way too much responsibility for my non-existant skill.”
“Yeah, it does sound like a better and much safer way to do it” The pegasus nods “But then, even tho I’m a pegasus, I don’t really know much about weathermaking, most I know is how to buck a cloud to make it go away”

“And then they talk about recycling…” Hippogriff chuckles. “I remember one pony from weather department who thought it would be a nice idea to take used rain clouds and recharge them over nearby river. He thought it would be faster than making a new bunch. Well, as the result city got a downpour instead of planned drizzle.”
“Hah, the rer-used clouds got too much water because of that I’m taking” He chuckles “But yeah, recycling is good… but not for everything.”

“Oh? Care to tell me an example? Because I don’t think I grasp that correctly…”
“Example? Well, I had a pony that came over to me with broken headphones. They were nearly new, but he couldn’t hear nearly anything from the right speaker. What do I see upon disassembly? A cable that was so badly soldered that it nearly didn’t want to conduct anything. Quickest repair ever. Another case is when someone actually re-used parts from some older device. Parts that don’t last forever. After replacing them with brand new ones the thing worked for few more years without problem.”

“Wow, thinning out a screwdriver… that takes patience.”
He laughs “Patience? It didn’t have to be extremely accurate, I only needed to get it thin enough so I could remove a screw, took like 3 or 4 minutes.’
“Well, your entire job is a test of accuracy and patience for me.” Vindicar laughs a bit.
“Vin, Vin, Vin” The Pegasus chuckles “If ponies had such great patience and accuracy, I would have much less things to repair. You wouldn’t believe how often something have to repair is due to it’s constructor’s mistakes, than something actually breaking.”
