PewnyPL labs “Laptop Cooling System”
Consist of an Intel CPU fan 12V 0.6A, powered by a chinese 12V 0.3A power unit. How does it work? I have no idea. Does it work? HELL YEAH.(Don’t try this at home!)
Have some more facts, from the fan’s “documentation”:
Peak fan current draw during start-up operation (with 13.2 V applied, with fan operating in the free stream condition) shall not exceed 2.0 A.
Fan current spike during start-up operation (with 13.2 V applied, with fan operating in the free stream condition) shall be allowed to exceed 1.0 A for a duration of no greater than 1.0 sec.
Again, the power unit’s MAX output is 0.3A. I HONESTLY have no idea how this thing is able to start up.
