“Vin, Vin, Vin” The Pegasus chuckles “If ponies had such great patience and accuracy, I would have much less things to repair. You wouldn’t believe how often something have to repair is due to it’s constructor’s mistakes, than something actually breaking.”
“Oh? Care to tell me an example? Because I don’t think I grasp that correctly…”
“Example? Well, I had a pony that came over to me with broken headphones. They were nearly new, but he couldn’t hear nearly anything from the right speaker. What do I see upon disassembly? A cable that was so badly soldered that it nearly didn’t want to conduct anything. Quickest repair ever. Another case is when someone actually re-used parts from some older device. Parts that don’t last forever. After replacing them with brand new ones the thing worked for few more years without problem.”

I’m still wondering what you are using to make those replies to replies… With an addon I can finally copy-paste the text, but I can’t copy the avatar and pictures from picture replies. Just what are you using.
I’m using Missing E. It still allows me to do replies to replies from inside the note thingy of the post itself. It just hides under the ignore option, but it’s easy to hit anyway.
Oh… OH! I never noticed that icon there. I mean, I always replied to notes by dashboard notes, not by post-notes. Good to know.

He lets out a sigh of relief seeing his friend safe “Thank goodness you’re alright… Mostly”
Sorry about your hind leg. I had to make certain I cut through them all the way. Here, I have some bandages. *Zephyr wraps up the claw wound.* It’s not too deep, since I was aiming for the plant and not your leg.
Vindicar blinks in surprise and looks at Zephyr more carefully. “Oh, underwing pouch. Didn’t know you wear one of those. I find them rather uncomfortable. But thank you anyway.” He pulls opinicus into grateful hug. “I really should get airborne as fast as possible, though…” With that hippogriff stands up on three legs and starts swinging his wings, trying to make them dry faster. “Sometimes I really envy your waterproof feathers, Zeph.”
The pegasus’ own wings are wide spread, drying them too “Waterproof feathers? Well, that’s quite an advantage you have there.” He looks between his and Vindicar’s wings “Also, I guess that’s another weakness of a griffon, the bigger volume of their wings to dry off.”

The trio emerges in a rather sizable cave. In the back they can hear bubbling of water from a small natural hot-spring. But the ceiling of the cave is what’s noticable the most. It’s literally FILLED with huge groupings off those red crystals, some of them up to five times larger than the biggest ones that Vindicar saw in Pewny’s workshop. They lightly shine, giving enough light to see around.
“Well, here we are gentlemen.”
Wow… This is beautiful… You said something about these crystals disabling or stealing magic?
“Yes. Actually, I think they are feeding on it… So I would be careful. I feel cold, but it may be just water…” Hippogriff whistles quietly as he looks around. “There is at least a ton of these crystals here… enough to disable all magic in Canterlot. Good think the cave is so far away. And since Moon City is now taking water from here…” Vindicar frowns. “Let me check something.” He walks towards the wall where one of the crystals is sitting, raises on his hind legs and touches it.
“Must be the water” Due to the hot spring the cave is rather warm. He then looks as the hippogriff touches a crystal. It’s surface doesn’t have any abnormal temperature, being the same as rocks and the air. His magic is not being sucked off either.

It does? *he smiles lightly at the metalic mare* Well, glad I could actually help a bit then.
“Yup, but I’m done for today. I do have a limit for this kind of stuff, after all.”
Neither would I try to talk about it anymore, Twi.
“Good. We agree on the same thing, then.” she says, followed by a somewhat quiet and short laugh.
*notices that the laugh was rather odd, but is uncertain if he should say anything about it or not, for now he simply nuzzles the mare, not saying anything, giving her a small smile*
